Join us as Noel Gish, author of THE book on Smithtown's history and friend of the Society details the history of our town and how it has changed over the years.

Irish Heritage Night
Special Program: 6 - 9 PM at the Brush Barn

Join the Historical Society to celebrate one of the most prominent and historical groups of the town: the Irish.  The evening will be filled with Irish dancing, singing, music and a special Corned beef and cabbage meal.

Kings Park - Gail Hessel

The lecture series resumes with a treat: Smithtown Historical Society and Kings Park Heritage Museum Trustee, Gail Hessel, will be on hand to shed some light on the facinating 'History of Kings Park'.  If you have ever wondered how Kings Park came to be what it is, this is the lecture for you.

Nesconset - Brad Harris

The Mondays in March Lecture Series wraps up with an old standard.  Society president and Town Historian, Brad Harris, joins us to discuss the history and development of Nesconset.  Drop on by for an interesting and thorough presentation accompanied by a wide variety of wonderful historic photographs.
