Host Your Event at the SHS

Whether it's a family party or a fundraising event, the Smithtown Historical Society is a great place to host. We offer both grounds rentals and the opportunity to use our Brush Barn.

Frank Brush Barn

History: The Frank Brush Barn was built circa 1900 by Clinton Darling. It originally housed horses and wagons and for transporting equipment needed to fight fires. Originally built on Landing Avenue, the Society moved the Barn to its present site on Middle Country Road in 1988. It was named in honor of Frank Brush, a former Smithtown Clerk.
