The Smithtown Community Band (SCB) presents a series of five free outdoor weekly concerts on the grounds of the Smithtown Historical Society Frank Brush Barn on Tuesday nights in July.  The Smithtown Community Band will "span the globe" celebrating the culture and heritage of over 30 countries on seven continents. "Music from Around the World" will include the signature themes and styles of many nations throughout the globe. The series highlights will include The Smithtown Community Band, Smithtown Strings, Transitions Saxophone Quartet, vocalist Carolyn Mistretta, guest instrumentalists, and a multi-media video presentation accompanied and synchronized to the live performance of the SCB, all projected on a large screen.  The series will be presented on the beautiful grounds  of the Smithtown Historical Society's Frank Brush Barn. Bring a chair, or a blanket and a basket dinner, and enjoy the 39th summer of performances under the stars.
